Dear Participants, Volunteers, & Friends, Unfortunately, the 2021 Shore Break 5k scheduled for Monday May 31, 2021 has been cancelled due to the health concerns, financial constraints, and logistical complications associated with the continuing COVID-19 situation. Opening of registration was delayed this year to avoid refund costs like we experienced last year. As you know, all proceeds from this race go towards the Hatteras Island Youth Education Fund to help provide educational opportunities that would not otherwise be available to the students on Hatteras Island. What happens next? We’ll be processing refunds for everyone who deferred their registration from last year's race.
